Law Enforcement Immigration Task Force Sign-On Letters
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Ahead of Election Day, the following is a statement by leaders of the Law Enforcement Immigration Task Force:
“In this contentious year and election season, we respect and support people’s right to peaceful protest. We will not stand for violence or intimidation, on the part of anyone. We are committed to protecting everyone in our communities, no matter where they were born or how they choose to vote.
“As Americans vote and some exercise their right to protest, we call for calm and civility in all communities across our nation.”
